Fresh Fruit Smoothie

*From the PhillyFit Menu*

It is that time of year again when many of us try to change our evil ways and get back to healthy eating and exercise. When you are ordering for a group you will no doubt have several (if not quite a few) who would like to have a healthy food option. If you’ve ever been watching what you eat, you know firsthand what pitfalls you can face you at the catering buffet. It can be a mystery as to what is healthy and what packs the calorie and fat punch.

We created the PhillyFit menu to assist our customers and their guests to clearly choose healthy options. First and foremost, we give priority to fresh ingredients and great taste. PhillyFit options are also low in fat and healthful, while being satisfying and delicious. We provide nutritional information and portion size for each item, and it is clearly displayed for your guests. PhillyFit items can be ordered as a complete menu or as add on items to our existing menu packages. You can see a sampling of the menu on our website (click here) or call us for a custom menu.

This PhillyFit fresh fruit smoothie recipe is easy to make, and satisfies those sweet cravings in a healthy way. Compared to a takeout milkshake that delivers a whopping 770 calories and 18 grams of fat, the smoothie is a calorie bargain coming in at only 115 cals and 1 gram of fat. You can use fresh fruit creamy drink or frozen fruit for a frosty texture. Enjoy!
